So the fam and I went and checked out Stefano's tonight based on recommendations.  WOOOOOOWWWWW!!! DELISH!!!
We all had something different.  My daughter went for the meatball sub because she's a connoisseur (no cheese cuz she's weird) and she gave it a solid two thumbs up.  Hubby had the Old World Sub which was a cold Italian sub that he really enjoyed along with some yummy tortellini salad. I was torn between the Romeo and the Smashy. Since my son ordered the Romeo I took a bite, tri tip panini with lots of yummy cheese and peppers.  The girl at the counter recommended au jus to go along and it was a fantastic suggestion.  I definitely want to go back and order that whole sandwich again.  My Smashy was outstanding, sort of like a French dip but so much better. The peppers were just right, not overcooked and still a little touch of crisp and very flavorful.  The bread was so soft, just the right amount of cheese.  Yum.
We got some desserts too (thanks Frank) but honestly we're all too full and satisfied to try them yet, but based on everything else, I'm sure they're delicious.
My only complaint is that the menu has so many interesting and yummy sounding sandwiches, I'll probably have to go back for months to try them all!!
Staff was great too... definitely going back soon!!

Stefano's is one of the best places that my work has catered for several work events and the food is always incredible! I was so excited today to give them a call and place a sandwich order to take home.

From the time I called I was asked if I could be placed on hold, where I was left for nearly 10 minutes. Then, when I arrived to pick up my order, it made sense. Every employee looks terribly miserable and unhappy. No smiles, no kindness and when the phone rang while I was waiting I watched one of them roll their eyes and they argued over who had to get it.

It's a shame to have to give such a low review because the food is always absolutely wonderful, but nothing hurts me more than spending such a high price for a good sandwich and having to experience terrible service.

Call this a busy sandwich shop, because it really is! It's located at a small little plaza, that looks more like an industrial parking lot. But, that just means lots of parking for you, friends!

Once you walk in, you'll see tons of people lining up almost out the door. You can take a peek at other patrons, with their stacked sandwiches of goodness on their plates, happily eating away. The one goodness I got to try was the Sorrento sandwich. Just the right amount of toasty bread, with savoryness in every bite.

Service is just standard here, though employees are friendly and smile. My only thing about this place is that there are not enough tables here to enjoy your sandwich! You also have to "table watch" and grab one once people leave. That's just a little stressful, especially when you just want to sit down and enjoy your meal. Hopefully, Stefano's will open up some new tables!

The bread was barely toasted so our paninis got really soggy :(
Came in looking forward to those blackened stripes.

A simply fabulous, speciality sandwich shop in the heart of yorba linda.  With a variety of paninis, salads and homemade pastas to choose from, you truly can't go wrong.  Plenty of seating either indoor or outdoor with a quaint 'sandwich shop' vibe.

We highly recommend the golden ham sandwich and/meatball sandwich.  Both very flavorful!!!!

Overall, a great experience. We definitely plan on coming back.
